Join the Charity Athlete Committee and special guest Carey Pinkowski from the Bank of America Chicago Marathon as we kick off the running season and the Charity Athlete program. The 2009 Charity Athlete Kick Off will be a fun morning, with great information about training, fundraising, apparel, nutrition and American Cancer Society programs. Bring a friend! I just would like to add that the American Cancer Society is the only reason that I decided to step-up to the challenge of a marathon. If I hadn't discovered the Charity Runners program, I would've not even considered it seriously. Thanks to that much needed motivation, I have discovered a hobby and lifestyle that I love.
